It’s that time of year. “Spring” in Texas. For those who don’t know Texas weather, that means the potential for triple digit heat.
Recently, I decided to start spending more time outside. A great way to do that is by walking Sandy instead of just putting her out in the yard.
As a pet parent, please be aware of the pavement temperature. A good way to check is to place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds. If it’s too hot for you, it will burn their paws.
That leads to me buying protection for my Sandy. I highly recommend these! This is an affiliate link:LONSUNEER Puppy Daily Soft Sole Nonslip Mesh Boots, with 2 Long and Safe Reflective Straps, Breathable and Cool, Inner Width 1.6 Inch, Set of 4, Bright Green
They didn’t come off, even when she tugged on them!
Of course I had to set up the camera to record her first experience with them. She still doesn’t walk in them. She jumps like a baby goat! It’s so cute! Watch til the end and you’ll see what I mean.
